One of Newman's best, and that's really saying something.

Fantastic film about an obsession to be the best.

Finally just watched this and learned two things: 1.Even though I know better, smoking looks really cool and 2. I do not understand romance /relationships in classic movies.

Played pool for the first time today celebrating by watching the two great pool films the hustler, and the colour of money.

Thank you, Netflix, for having "The Hustler" on streaming. You suck, however, for only having the sequel - "The Color of Money" - on DVD.
