"in the mood for love" might be one of my most favorite films. you can't describe how wonderful and poetic it is, you just have to watch for yourself.

What is it about thus film that is simultaneously heart crush and hopeful, sad and quietly happy? Everything just so beautiful.

watched this at about 1AM. found it very artsy - it is a wong kar wai film anyway, and yet very chick flick-y. i remember an american movie with the same theme starring harrison ford and the lady from the english patient. enjoyable but made me long for a happy ending. the music was very effective.

Not a big fan of this one. Definitely pretty but not a dynamic story or a character-driven film. Screening with undergrads in FTV 140.

I <3 Wong Kar Wai

The Spanish songs (Aquellos ojos verdes and Quizás, Quizás, Quizás) gave the movie a warm, cozy, powerful feel. I don't know how, it just did.

Watched it last night for the umpteenth time. Still love it to death.

Aesthetically pleasing romantic movie but beautifully depressing.

Once again... I don't get tired of this movie. Feelings always grow at the moment you decide to get closer to someone.
