Inside Man is such an over looked movie. This is nowhere near my first time seeing it so I know it's been out for about six years or so. I just feel like it's so under appreciated. You have some big names involved in this one. Not only do you get Clive Owen, Denzel Washington, Jody Foster, William Defoe and Christopher Plummer but also Brian Grazer producing and Spike Lee directing. And everyone is top notch and delivers their best. Clive and Denzel work well together. Their parts are believable and intense. Jody and Christopher show us they are veterans in their craft (and in my opinion, we don't see enough of Jody Foster now a days). I haven't looked it up so I have no proof of this but I like to think this is Spike Lee's tribute to Dog Day Afternoon. Of course it's hard to top Pachino but Inside Man's story is so much deeper and worth the watch.
