None of the remakes beat the original

James Mason was so handsome back then.

love this movie for all its hokiness and bad special effects with lizards 'dressed' to be dinosaurs AND of course Pat Boone's character 'naked' after escaping the underground :)

James Mason was such a talent. What a great voice he had.

Felt like watching a classic to fall asleep to.

1959, with alligators and komodo dragons that have spines and horns glued on them to look like dinosaurs. Great fun.

Wow - I honestly forgot how much of this the 4:30 Movie version chopped out. LOVE this movie so much - it's great to see the intact version!

My little brother and I watched this tons of times when he was little. Great adventure film for its time.

Old School. I love the special effects.

The original is always the best. I loved Jules Verne as a child. His stories still captivate me now.
