Jeff C. Chow Yun-Fat is the epitome of 80's ultracool. Standing there slick and unflinching, dishing out round after round. In 'Transormers', this very behaviour was chilling and misplaced; here, it punctuates Woo's murder ballet and adds dimension to Chow's portrayal of the haunted Killer. -
Jeff C. A lot of people think 'paired .45s' as the John Woo signature; personally, I would point to the way he gets his actors to alternately thrust their hands forward in time to their shots fired, as though punching the bullets toward their targets. It's a nice touch. -
Jeff C. New combatants in white matching tracksuits arrive for the fight by diving out of a moving car into a tuck-and-roll.

Aldred Basiga A Better Tomorrow 2 is great as well. Not for the story, but it's just interesting watching Chow Yun-Fat get shot 5 times, and still get up.
