Jillian @haralith It really is. It's strictly interviews from defectors who describe their life in NK, why they left, and who they left behind. Watch it with loads of tissues because so many of them had family members executed, sent to labor camps, or they have no idea where they are. They sound so desperate even though they are living comfortably in South Korea. :(

Stefano D Andriani The research is there, but you can't just slap together some images. It's a valuable doc in the sense that it tells a valuable story, but the actual "film" aspects of it detract quite a bit. A good effort, but could have ultimately been much more and failed to be.

Good doc, I've always been curious about North Korea. The Philip Glass-like music is good too, but the editing is poor and the dancing in between distracting and pointless.
