Jeez. I remember when this movie came out. It was a pretty big deal. First watch right now.

One of the few Scorsese films i havent seen!

Interesting take on the story of Christ. Can't see where it's controversial at all.

once i found out Martin Scorsese directed this iv wanted to see it that was about 6 yrs ago.

Story of Jesus not based on the Gospel, so it is not similar at all, even gives much of confusion to follow the story

Harvey Keitel as Judas!? Dafoe as Christ! This is a trip! Hella interesting

Four simple words attracted me to watching this movie today: Harvey Keitel as Judas.

Never got around to reading the book & its the only Martin Scorsese movie I have yet to see...
