On a semi-related note, camels seem like jerks. I've never met one but just in movies like this they seem like they give off the "we're better than horses" vibe.

An excellent film with a fantastic score. 1962 was a great year for film scores!

There aren't many activities, let alone films, that can capture my interest for 3+ hours but this one does. And it does it every single time it's on.

Despite the running time this movie flies by every time I watch it.

Not sure what I think yet. May have to watch again. Feel like such said ending. He is a broken man. Almost 4 hrs tho so will not watch again real soon.

I just DVRed this and plan to watch it in daily, ten-minute intervals...for the rest of my life.

Love these epic movies that include real intermissions.

Boy, it takes awhile to get to Anthony Quinn in this movie. But worth every minute :)
