Amazing film- it's unfortunate that "To Kill a Mockingbird" and Lawrence were released in the same year. Both films and their lead actors deserved Oscars .

Cinerama 70mm screening was sold out; Ray and I are making due with a DVD.

Ali's concern for Lawrence is rather touching. The history books do say Lawrence had an obsession with him.

I find the scene with the bey at Deraa hard to watch.

The scene between Allenby and Brighton makes me wonder if his government didn't order him killed after all.

I wonder if the rest of the world realizes that Lawrence is the one who taught the Arab peoples guerilla warfare and the use of IEDs...
