Not as caustic as Todd Solondz's Happiness but shares a similar-feeling view of suburban family life. Kate Winslet super again. The ending could have benefitted from a few lighter brushstrokes but overall, it was a well-acted, humorous and intriguingly perceptive film. Goes well with wine, I found.

she didn't feel shame or guilt, only a sense of profound disorientation as if she had been kidnapped by aliens then released unharmed a few hours later...

Finally feeling brave enough to watch this.

Was NOT expecting to see that much of Patrick Wilson. Soooo #notcomplaining

it is really the run of the mill movie to me-I love Kate Winslett-she is always good in anything but this movie is really boring
