I always forget how awesome the balrog scene is

Remember if you haven't watch the Appendices on the Extended Cut releases. They provided us so much of the detail and backstory necessary to really appreciate the movies.

Yet AGAIN ... this time with DJ. hehehe he bet me $6 that he will stay awake for the WHOLE movie. BOTH disks. It's like stealing from kids ... wait ... that is what i am doing. lol

Now the hard part...deciding to watch with or without the actor commentary, which always has excellent snarf value...?

Now on disc 2 of the extended edition and I am just in awe at the writing in this film. Such. Great. Lines.

I just scolded myself for quoting and not just enjoying the awesomeness of this movie.

I put in my blu-ray, and saw 1 hour 45 minutes and I was like, "Wasn't this longer?" Then I remembered that each movie is two disc.

Nice to see scenes not in the original version of the film shown in theaters.

Just begin the 12-hour marathon ! Can't believe 10 years TODAY!!!
