Great movie! The ending of both the movie and the book make me a little sad, kind of like how the elves must feel leaving Middle Earth.

Just finished another round of LOTR extended versions... which makes a totally of... oh man... I've watched these movies a LOT.

"I'm glad to be with you, Samwise Gamgee, here at the end of all things."

This has to be the best of the Trilogy. Can't stand Gollum and Sam scenes. But around 4hours long- bum numbing.

The story is old - the enmies dark and many - look away, but victory comes from. . .
