Lost Highway

A jazz saxophonist (Bill Pullman) suspects his wife (Patricia Arquette) of cheating on him. In short order, the wife is found murdered, and the husband is convicted of the crime. In prison, he transforms into a young mechanic (Balthazar Getty) who, after being released (he's not the convicted murderer anymore), meets a local gangster's moll … also played by Patricia Arquette! An interesting, fragmented film directed by David Lynch.

"Lost Highway" might possibly be my favorite movie of all time. Between David Lynch's insanely sinister use of lighting and sound and the twisted storyline that takes four of five viewings to just begin to understand, this movie is a visual and psychological roller coaster ride. Merging beauty and violence, David Lynch's "Lost Highway" is a certifiable cinematic masterpiece.

I like Bill Pullman and Patricia Arquette. The atmosphere, color palette and themes are all dark. Bizarre and creepy feeling throughout.
