I don't know if I've ever hear anything about this film before, but its always been one I am interested in. I think someone spoiled this for me a while back but I forget their spoiler so I am going into it knowing only that Christian Bale is super skinny and doesn't sleep.

I had a little insomnia so I decided to finally stay up and watch "The Machinist", I immensely enjoy Psychological Thrillers and this one is definitely at the top of the list. Christian Bale again gives an Academy Award winning performance. His deceptive mind leads him into a mental horror that not only is physically apparent by his massive weight loss and feelings of guilt but also his hallucinations that leaves the audience questioning whats real from delusional.

I loved the OTT freaky themepark ride scene :')

This movie has been on my shortlist for several years. I think I've avoided it because of how scary Christian looks. Strange how he's still attractive even when he's skeletal.

I've been wanting to see this one for a while to see Bale's trasformation and performance. He has proved to be an outstanding actor, one who transforms completely, inside and outside.
