Really enjoyed MAO'S Last Dancer'! Bruce Beresford film about Xi Chicao. Very inspiring story. Good to be reminded of USA's contribution to human rights.

I watched Mao's Last Dancer on Netflix this morning and I absolutely enjoyed it. It's very touching, and it doesn't hurt that it is based on a true story. Guo Chengwu, the principal actor, is such a beautiful dancer. His technique is amazing, as well as his ability to convey emotion. Overall, very touching, interesting and enjoyable. Watch it. Go on...do it. I was not familiar with Li Cunxin's story before seeing this movie, but I imagine he is probably quite pleased with this adaptation of his autobiography.
