This small film is a keeper! A small southern towns annual beauty pageant and how it has effected a family. Holly Hunter, Mary Steenburgen, Tim Robbins, and Alfrie Woodard are wonderful in their roles! This story depicts the "great importance" of the pageant to the town truthfully. I live in a town just like it, and the film doesn't exaggerate! This is a fun film, give it a watch!

This film is a keeper! Wonderful cast has a blast telling the story of a "wanna-be" pageant contestant. Small southern towns annual pageant and how it effects a family. Holly Hunter, Mary Steenburgen, Tim Robbins, and Alfrie Woodard are fabulous in their roles! I live in a town like the films, and the "importance" of the pageant is not exaggerated!
