I had known about the soundtrack of The Mission as one of the best ever. But now that I've actually seen the film, it becomes even more significative. It shows the goodness inside everyone of us and reminds us how we should try to retain our humanity at whatever the cost. This movie has instantly become one of my favorites.

Ennio Morricone's score is one of the many amazing aspects of this beautiful and tragic epic.

Jesuits, Sword fighting, Tribal cultures....why did I not watch this sooner.
