I really enjoyed this. I have always loved Queen Victoria, and now I love the thought (however likely or not) that her heart was taken with a Scotsman. Also enjoyed seeing one of Gerard Butler's earlier roles as the brother to Billy Connolly's character.

Victorian England. Movie begins as if it is opening of a new Castle episode.

Quite splendid indeed and fascinating...adored this film.

This is one of my favourite films. Both Dame Judy and Mr Connolly give splendid performances in a terrific and fascinating motion picture.

Not the first time I have seen this, however, I could watch it over and over again. Billy Connolly and Judi Dench are spectacular together in this telling of the later years of Queen Victoria
