A bit overshadowed by Star Wars perhaps, nevertheless a well-received and pretty terrific remake of the Karloff classic. Stephen Sommers directs a great film here (a statistical anomaly, barring the stupid-but-excellent 'Deep Rising'). Brendan Fraser is pretty great as a doofy Indiana Jones-type adventurer.

Re-watching this again on HBO. Never gets old.

Absolutely love this movie.

I first wacthed this as a kid, and loved it! The actors, the scenery; special effects, romance, action, mummies and Egipt... It (almost never gets old) :D
