Eric Mitchell I always preferred the second film going up because the scene with Macaulay Culkin dying got to me every time. -
Lisa @nericmitch There has never been a time where I watched the first one with out crying or bawling my eyes out. & it's so well written. Other than the funeral scene where she's crying and telling them to put his glasses on, two other parts that get to me are when she asks her dad if she killed her mother and then the part where her and her dad see Thomas J's mom outside the store and Vada tells her that Thomas J is going to be fine because her mom will take care of him. Gets to me every time...I love the 2nd one too, watching it right now.

Leah Christensen @mhryvnak Cool!!! I knew it had to be somewhere in Eastern Europe. The "Hr" made me think Croatian, as in words like Hravska, Hravatski, etc. but the ending suggested somewhere near Russia. What you say makes sense. Thanks!

My Girl just came on.....I haven't seen this movie in years.......such a cute ,adorable, & sad movie........it always brings me to tears.....but it's such a good heart felt movie.
