It pisses me off how "embarrassed" Christian Bale is about this film. They're giving a lot of press to that again on shows featuring the musical and discussing the film. What a slap in the face from him to so many fans! This & Swing Kids are still my two favorite films of his... Sure he's good now but his attitude (about this & other things) sours my enjoyment of him these days...
