Perhaps the most stunning and unique portrait of psychopathic behavior since the Shining, an utterly unrelenting mind-blower than any fan of cinema or even existentialism cannot miss. The writer of the book is one incredible talent as well so if you feel similar definitely read his other work, for example 'The Road' which is now a movie as well.

A fantastic movie, even for the Coen brothers (and that's saying a lot). The long, slow, and methodical scenes are beautifully shot.

I loved this movie for the same reasons I loved Pulp Fiction. Plus my heart was pounding out of my chest pretty much the entire way through.

In the Coen Bros. movies list, this movie must be in the top 5. To describe properly suspenseful moments without background music or audio effects - that must be pure art! And that's what this movie really is. No necessary dialogs, or even words, it keeps you speechless during every scene, and you could never guess what's coming next. And that's the right way for doing thrillers.
