I'm a bit tired to say this over and over again but De Niro's performance was absolutely marvelous, just like he did in Raging Bull, he was able to portray Noodles in two different eras, as the opium addict and the old version of him 35 years later. De Niro is indeed a genius.

I watched "once upon a time in America" yesterday.

maybe i'm weird but i don't understand the hysteria around this one.
yes, very good film.
but maybe too long.
