When I was younger, I thought of writing a story of a Mermaid who fell in love with a Preacher Man. He was crazy about her and married her, they had a son and a daughter. After 7 years of happiness she and the children vanished. He goes mad looking for them. She and the children return 3 years after their disappearance. I never finished it.

This is a beautiful film. You feel for the characters, especially Annie.
