One of my favorite movies of all time, and I have to stop and watch it every time I see it on the Channel Guide. Way too many good lines to quote them all, but just watched the scene where the kid he's riding with dies, and if someone ever gave this as my eulogy, I'd die a proud man! "This boy was brought up in a time of blood and dying and never questioned a bit of it. He never turned his back on his folks or his kind. I rode with him... and I got no complaints."

I only watched this because the book was written by the same guy who wrote The Education of Little Tree under the pseudonym Forrest Carter, and after his death it was confirmed that he was actually famous racist segregationist Asa Earl Carter. What a wacked out truer than fiction story that was.

This movie was boring, right?

1 of Clint's best. I love this movie...

Multi-dimensional and non-gratuitous, a good flick. Perhaps the greatest western ever made. At least on the top five list.
