This is the best movie, a must see and read.

This really is a beautiful story, and touches on all sorts of issues from murder to growing up to living without parents, but its backbone is brotherhood. Coppola captures the array of emotions from Hintons words and throws it on screen with the absolute perfect cast of familiar faces, each bringing something different to the story and also bringing something new to each individual character, and this film was the perfect way to launch many careers. The atmosphere was encapsulated to perfection, giving the audience the most realistic sense of life in the 1960s possible through scenery, costuming, language and of course, the main reason why the extended edition is better than the original, the awesome music.

The only thing you have to remember when watching this film is that, it will never, ever be as good as the book. So, I (with great difficulty) decided to watch it with an open mind the whole way through which is probably why I still loved it so much.

I ordered this this morning, as well as the original movie just incase I don't like the extended edition. I know, i'm the worst Outsiders fan in the world, never seen the movie.
