Christopher Lloyd's character,Mr. Dewey,is named after the Dewey System,a system of organizing books in a library.

Frank Welker and Leonard Nimoy appear together in this movie. This is the third time they have appeared together,but the only time that Frank does not take over as Nimoy's character.

This movie stars four regular cast members from various "Star Trek" series: Patrick Stewart; Leonard Nimoy(Dr. Jekyell has Vulcan shaped ears); Whoopi Goldberg and Robert Picardo. As well as this movie featuring four "Star Trek" regulars,it also starred two actors who have Star Trek connections: Christopher Lloyd,who played Klingon Commander Kruge in "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock",and Ed Begley Jr.,who portrayed Henry Starling in 2 episodes of "Star Trek: Voyager" namely "Future's End: Part 1" and "Future's End: Part 2".

Watched this movie a dozen times & just realized Leonard Nimoy voiced Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde! WTH! Btw, Horror is my favorite book! He's so cute! :P
