end was lil melodramatic and those guys were a lil wakos but overall was great! "...i am still here you bastards!!!..."

This is my first time watching this...and I love it! I had no clue what this movie would be about, but that makes the story that's unfolding all the better.

Whoa. Just landed here (on pbs)... Haven't seen in YEARS. Read the book eons ago...sure, an american adaptation, but mcQueen highly underrated

Steve McQueen was so hot.

He went a little mad. Hard to believe he could write an autobiography that was later made into an award-winning movie.

She was a spiteful nun. Poor #Papillon.
