O filme é inacreditável. Político e inocente, pueril e extremamente cruel, ele oscila de injustiças sociais (não sei até que ponto verossímeis, não pesquiso o assunto, mas fiquei interessado) até cenas de uma intensidade poética inabalável. Cito uma de cabeça. A cena em que Deus se encontra com Marx no sonho da protagonista - me fugiu o nome! Ou a final, de uma crueldade absurda, que eu não posso dizer aqui por que senão estragaria a surpresa.

If I can get around to watch this before midnight, would be great, if not tomorrow afternoon. Hoping is a good movie!

Watching Persepolis on NSTP class

First graphic movie that I see in a very long time. And it's in French!

The art is really cool.

The film did the graphic novel justice. Not only did it tell Marjorie's story as witty and dark as the graphic novel, but it also was animated in a cool and unique way. She tells her story with class and dignity but more importantly with a raw sincerity. Her faults and triumphs are all there. A dark but very accurate sense of humour prevails throughout all her tragedies and happiness. I recommend you see the film (excellent) and real the graphic novel (also excellent) to get the full effect.

Weird, but enjoyable. Loved the grandma- so feisty!

This is a really good animated movie. Based on the iranian revolution of 1979. Highly recommend it.

I have yet to read the graphic novel, but I heard good things. The animation is so creatively simple-I love it! It has a comic book feel to it. So well done.

Hopefully I can get this damn paper done.
