I love the soundtrack and the punchline

One of my favorite movies. The kind that never gets old.

3 minutes in, and I love this film already?! How come I've never seen this?

This has turned out to be an excellent movie.

A recommendation. We'll see how it goes.

Poolhall Junkies was difficult for me to sit through/stay focused on, and I feel bad saying that because the actor/writer/director Mars Callahan obviously put a lot of work into it. There's even Walken! For that alone, it should not be terrible... but it kind of is. Maybe it's because I'm not a pool girl (and this movie is, as the title suggests, all about that), but the writing and performances were disappointing. Walken's acting was on point, as usual; however, because the material didn't give him much to work with, his lines fell flat and did not seem anywhere near as poignant as intended. Mars Callahan is better as a director rather than an actor and/or writer, but his style is very fast-paced, and it seems like certain scenes were cut short/not filmed at all, thus unnecessarily skipping around. Alison Eastwood is robotic. Michael Rosenbaum and Anson Mount do their best, and it clearly shows -- they're hilarious. Rick Schroeder barely has any speaking parts. Chazz Palminteri is ...

I can watch this movie over and over and not get tired of it.

Gawd. I saw this at the premiere at my hay day. Wonder if I'll get pissed off by the end again.

Loved this movie as a teen, still like it as an adult. Oh nostalgia.

I wasn't able to keep my eye on 13 Assassins, and since it's subtitled, it's kind of important to do so... So i'll watch that another day, I'll just watch this to close out the night.
