Never knew of this John Carpenter film....

Seriously? John Carpenter says god was an alien?

Gotta love early Carpenter. In many ways aspects of the film were ahead of its time, and others very dated. Still creepy though. Love the idea of certain dreams being transmissions from the future.

Whoaa old school horror. Let's see how good it is.

God, this messes me up, every single time I watch it.

It drags on for awhile, but this movie always scared me as a kid.

Good for background noise while tinkering with my script :) not Carpenter's best, but not his worst.

Quantum theory, Satan, mullets, and Alice Cooper. Does it get any better than that?

Dear John Carpenter, some times you make crap. Just sayin.

The second of Carpenter's "Apocalypse Trilogy." It's a flick I must confess I've never quite got. But I keep coming back to it. One day I hope it will click.

I hope this gets a Blu-ray release eventually. The R1 DVD leaves a lot to be desired.

Seems like an obvious choice to watch on Christmas Eve to me...
