Can you say greatest movie of all time? I can, and when I do I say The Princess Bride. If you ask me they are practically synonymous. While the book that the movie was adapted from was something that I could never really get through, The Princess Bride movie has been my answer to the "Favorite Movie?" question since I was in elementary school. This hilarious, a-typical fairy tale is a classic for my generation. Guys and girls alike fall victim to its appeal. I mean who doesn't quote Inigo Montoya every time they are asked what their name is? "Hello, My Name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die." Brilliant! Simply brilliant! My father and I have been quoting this movie for years, and rarely do I find someone who isn't right there quoting it back to me. Robin Wright, Mandy Patinkin, ANDRE THE GIANT! These stars are huge (and I�m not just commenting on Andre). I highly recommend this movie to EVERYONE. Go watch it now!

I don't think I've met anyone who hasn't liked this movie. Maybe they exist, I'm not sure, but they may in fact have been born without a soul. Or they're a robot. One of the two.

Instant Classic. Eminently entertaining, wonderful performance, so many quotable lines, terrific characters great and small (Montoya being my favourite), swordfights, monsters, true love. Other filmmakers wanting to make family movies should take their lessons from this movie.

When I first watched this I was expecting Mel Brooks to pop out and break into song, it's just that funny! An epic fairy tale that will have you in stitches. RIP Andre the Giant! this really is a completely timeless movie. and it doesn't matter why you pick it up to watch it in the first place, you will love it. i still watch this movie at least once a week. my go to flick if i just want to sit back and be completely taken out of my head into a wonderful world. this really is true love. and it doesn't happen every day.
