Van Sant is a brilliant filmmaker, and he knew what he was doing when he made this. To those that knock this version just because it's a remake: Get your heads out of your asses!

We wussed out watch Insidious. Watching this instead

Remake...still don't like it, or the casting. Not even close to the original. Bernard Hermann's score is timeless.

Stayed very close in scenes and dialogue to the original. Vaughan did a great job, still liked Perkins better.

It definitely isn't the classic, but it is a good homage to the classic. I love the cast especially Vince Vaughn who gets to flex his creepy muscles for once.
