Wow! Ralph Finnes and Rob Morrow. I need to add Ralph's name to my short list. "Your name is my name"

Terry Browne Agreed, Rob Morrow really shines in this show.

Huh ... an uncredited Ethan Hawke as a student asking a question about Don Quixote ... interesting.

Tikachu18 I thought I saw Calista Flockhart as a coed too. -
Glenn Craven Good catch! Calista Flockhart is actually credited, along with Alysa Shwedel, as "Barnard Girls." Very different careers for those two; "Quiz Show" is Alysa Shwedel's only acting credit. Glenn Craven I just watched this film today for the first time and thought it was brilliant. I think you're SUPPOSED to feel conflicted; that's the point. Charles Van Doren certainly was. ... Robert Redford took a few liberties with historical accuracy for dramatic effect, but in hindsight (having now studied the scandal a bit) not a lot of liberties. With Dick Goodwin (the Congressional investigator) as co-producer, probably not a lot. ... Amazing to me is that all three men at the heart of the history in this film are still alive; Charles Van Doren is 86, Herb Stempel is 85 and Dick Goodwin (who was a speechwriter for RFK among others, and the husband of Doris Kearns Goodwin) is 80. -
Angel You make an excellent point. Seeing it in those terms, it all makes sense. In the end, it had me thinking but I guess I lacked the proper focus to appreciate the film. Good call, man.
