baddest military documentary I've ever seen. a must watch

This was my choice for Memorial Day viewing. Wondering how these young men make sense of what they went through, at this point.

No politics. No big picture. Just what it was like to be in Afghanistan in 2007.

Extremely good documentary. Clearly there was no PA guidance on this one. Very raw and real.

This has moved me beyond explanation.

Required viewing for every U. S. citizen old enough to go to war or send others to war. Unbelievably powerful. Created by Sebastian Junger and Tim Hetherington.

This film is some of the best footage I have ever seen in my life of the conflict and crap our guys go through when they serve our country. Every time some smart butt makes a comment about any armed forces member I recommend this film... The way I see it there is nothing COOL, nothing AWESOME, nothing GREAT about war....there is DEATH, SACRIFICE AND COMMITMENT. And this is caught in this film....is is a real amazing testimony to what our men and women had/have to face day in and day out.

For those that keep saying "great movie" blah blah blah... It's not a movie. And combat is not great. If you think combat is "cool" stop being afraid and go serve.
