Kevin Costner , Mary Mostriantonio , Morgan Freeman and Alan Rickman star in this 90's version of the English legend to film.Robin Of Locksley with the help of a Moor little john and fryar tuck and maid Marion must defend his people from the rule of Sheriff Nottingham and save the woman he loves and to take back what is rightfully there's with the peoples money.Alan Rickman as Nottingham is the standout performance he has fun being as bad as possibly can and Kevin Costner is charming as Robin Hood the rest of the cast is good and play there parts well I grew up with this one and find this one to be the best.

Quite entertaining. Although, seeing for the first time in more than ten years there are flaws that are, evidently, present. But that's no reason to not watch it, the presence of some people in the cast (like Morgan Freeman) make it worthwhile, Kevin Costner's hand notwithstanding.

Methinks that the studio now would have a problem w/ the Morgan Freeman character saying "Allah" so much
