Great performance by Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart. Both did a great job of portraying the originals. Dakota and Kristen both have big things ahead of them, can't wait to see where there acting takes them.

Not a bad film, moved a little slowly and I felt like there could have been more fire in the performances. The other girls didn't get any time, so that sucked.

The performances by Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart were great. The script needed a bit more polishing, I felt like they need to delve a little deeper into what Cherie's motivations were.

I thought this was a great movie. Learned some things I never knew about the Runaways.

Movie was well done and interseting. They picked the right actresses for the parts and I was surprised at how well Fanning and Stewart did.

Yes I get it . . . In the 70's it was tough for women to be taken seriously. Yes I really get the whole feminism that is forced fed to us through out the film, but that's not the reason I didn't like this film. First why is it only focused on Joan & Cherie? I want to know about the other members, particularly Lita Ford! They just magically pop up, & we don't hardly get any back story about them. The fact that they didn't even say what happened to them is bullshit! Mix in every damn cliche that happens in everyone of these musician bio films, & it's rather blah . . .

The film should have just been called "Joan & Cherie."

Solid biopic, with two spot-on performances from Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett and Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie. The music is faithful to the original sound. If there's one major flaw, it's that the story is concentrated on Joan Jett and Cherie Currie with little or no mention of the other Runaways - if you didn't know it already, you might miss the mention of Lita Ford as the guitarist, who had a respectable solo career in the 80's, and is most noticeable in the movie only in one short scene where she and Cherie argue in the recording studio.

Even better than expected --great storytelling style, casting and the ending is dead on.

"I Love Runaways...."

I was really surprised when I saw this. Usually, I loathe Kristen Stewart's acting and Dakota Fanning is usually sub-par for me, but in The Runaways, they were amazing! I think they've found their inner actresses, or at least I hope they did. Else I will never see a film starring either of them again. I had to stop for a moment after the film to regain my wits. It's just that amazing! Plus, they did a really good job covering the songs. :D

I liked it, I thought it was gonna suck because of Kristen, but she actually did pretty good in it.

I was very impressed with Kristen Stewart's and Dakota Fanning's acting. Stewart hasn't been able to really act since the Twilight disaster. She played the part how it was written. I'm happy that she might be able to break away from that and become an actress. I'm thrilled Dakota is going to be more than a child star, she has some serious potential and I really hope we will be seeing more of them both.
