What a wonderful, awesome movie! I love how Hiromasa Yonebayashi (Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle) has created a world of wonder and adventure from ordinary things. This movie is different from his others in that it was adapted from a book, "The Borrowers" and so isn't quite so wildly imaginative as his others, and it's still extremely enjoyable. :o)

I just started watching for the second time on Directv On Demand "The Secret World of Arrietty"!!!!! It is soo good reminds me of the cartoon series "The Littles" and the movie "The Borrowers"!

We watched this as our "dinner movie" tonight and it was a hit! Definitely was a great birthday gift from my son to his sister!

I love this movie already and we are only 5 minutes in!

Another Ghibli missed in theaters. Getting to watch at work is fun though.
