When his wife (Sari Wagner) leaves him for one of his colleagues, physics professor Larry Gopnik (Michael Stuhlbarg) admits it's time to become a more serious man. But there's so much holding him back from spiritual greatness -- including a freeloading brother (Richard Kind) and two useless kids. Joel Coen and Ethan Coen helm this autobiographically inspired black comedy set in 1960s Minnesota.
Coen Brothers hit it again. Great little movie. This lead actor needs to be seen more than a tv show right now (he plays Bugsy Siegel on Boardwalk Empire).
