Seeing what all the fuss is . . . Oh, my!

Yup. That is a lotta penis for the first 7 minutes of a theatrical release movie.

Was brilliant. A film that on the surface is a character study of a sex addict but McQueen digs deeper and presents us a film about a brother and sisters relentless path of self destruction.

Been looking forward to watching this one. McQueen & Fassbender the new Scorsese & DeNiro?

More complex than I anticipated. An empty feeling pervades its story line. But modern disturbing themes surround this movie.

Such a great film and an unflinching look at a man with a sex addiction that is spiraling out of control. This movie takes you down a dark road as Michael Fassbender does an amazing job making every encounter of this character feel as depressing as the next. Also a fantastic job by Carey Mulligan who plays off Fassbender so well. Overall it's a fascinating subject. Sometimes when you hear about sex addiction it can honestly sound a little strange but this movie did an excellent job burrowing to the core of this emotionally painful disease.

Good movie showing the dark side of sex addiction. For all you ladies, Fassbender shows his cock.

15 minutes in, and with only a handful of dialogue, there is a definite air of pain and sadness.

I thought I'd watch HUNGER before this one, but it didn't happen. Michael Fassbender gives a phenomenal performance in and out of clothes in what is an intense, captivating drama on the use and abuse of the body per sexual addiction. Carey Mulligan is also splendid here, making evident that she too bears the marks of a shared horrid childhood with her brother and just like him is trying to survive yet falls apart just as much as Michael's character does. Really interesting material. Highly recommended.

Michael Fassbender is becoming one of my fav actors.
