Ok. Started off well but then fell into what is now the norm for horror. Not sure now if I will check out the French original. Good concept though. Fun trying to spot where cuts may have been.

psychological thriller or horror genre , u decide , Sarah ( Elizabeth Olsen ) is trapped in a lakeside family retreat while helping dad and uncle to re-furnish the house for sale . she hears voices , see images feels stalked when alone , dark no electricity , lamps and torches , heartbeats , pulsating sounds , mostly close-up facial scary expressions of sobbing Sarah , contrived cliche predictable ending , low budget , allegedly one take camera skill cinematography which I could not tell . one star I can give
