I've been wanting to see this movie for years. If it weren't for these two men, most heart patients wouldn't be alive, such as myself. So thank you to these two men for developing new techniques to use while performing open heart surgery.

Mos Def is unparalleled here.Demonstrated his best acting, when he went to the failed bank,to collect his ends.

Jill Notice when Blalock and team were scrubbing, those people opening the doors to enter the anti -room pulled them open toward themselves, not into the anti-room ... this is to prevent a flow of " dirty air" into a "sterile area".... As Nursing student, I learned this from a pediatric Neurosurgeon (trained by Dr. Ben Carson) upon entering his OR (at Hopkins) the improper way... He was young, and gracious in educating me on the propers of the OR. He brought me in to stand right behind him after I "scrubbed" and explained as he opened the skull of his patient; removing a portion of his damaged brain. I appreciated him for not throwing me out of his OR. I am sure he's doing extraordinary things today.

Justin Arenibas @Hawkeyes2012 @jackie_becker13 I don't think Netflix has it, because HBO doesn't release any of their films or series on Netflix. I wish they would release some of there works on Netflix.

Jackie Becker When I first watched it was before the whole loss of contract with Starz etc, so more than a year ago. I thought I saw it via Netflix, but I could've been mistaken

Mos Def did a great job in this movie about a man who went from being a janitor to a lab assistant to a leading heart surgeon at Johns Hopkins dealing with babies and children with heart issues.
