LOVE. So beautiful, one of Miyazaki's most breathtaking (in my opinion, he truly gets better with each film). Love the main character and her journey of growth. Love all the wild creatures she meets along the way. Love the extremely original plot line and how Ghibli always succeeds in transporting you to a completely different world and seeing things from such a unique perspective. Also love that he writes stories about interesting and empowered girls as much as boys. I could watch this a thousand times.

Perfection once more, from Hayao Miyazaki! Disney will NEVER get close to the quality of work that Studio Ghibli reaches!

Incredible movie. But remember: It's an anime, a japanese style. This means it won't make much sense if it was a real world-shooted movie... Overall, deserved the oscar it got...

This is a beautiful animated film that takes you into an engrossing journey of a girl as she grows up- learns about the realities of life, love, friendship and family. A finely made film that gives you just the right amount of wisdom, fun and moment of tenderness.

So detailed. Never could I imagine such a story being told in such a format. Although in a cartoon form, it scares the hell out of you. You can feel the ghosts, smell the dirt and even feel disgusting. Overall, it was a magical experience with a brilliant storyline.

I'm obsessed with this movie, it's so amazing.

The first Miyazaki film I�ve seen which made me an eager beaver to see his entire filmography.

I really liked this movie. While some of the plot (for me) needs some explaination (I didn't know what nose bleeds meant until a while ago....sighs) I think that the theme, art, and plot was excellant!
