I was much more of a fan of @wilw for this film than for Star Trek. I've always related to his character, Gordie the most.

Great movie. Don't know what happened to Rob Reiner. He made seven classic movies in a row and then he totally lost it.

This is the first movie I ever saw which was not a cartoon. I think it is moving and really interesting. I would have liked to go to the woods like them.

Introduced my youngest son to "Stand By Me" tonight. He couldn't believe that Jerry O'connell, Quinn, from "Sliders" played Vern Tessio! He thought it was so funny! Lol!
