Virago Clearly we're not going to agree on this. Logging onto a social media outlet, especially one that deals with television/movies, is like playing Russia roulette with spoilers. Quite frankly, at this late date, it's a miracle you didn't hear about more than just the wedding. And for the record, I am considerate when it comes to newer releases, but anything that's been out for a while is fair game. I shouldn't have to curtail my opinion/reaction to a film/show that's been out for over nine years just because someone might not have seen it. If you're new to the fandom, I've been there and that's just how it is coming into an already established fandom. And if you're an older fan that's just seeing the movie, what the hell took you so long to see it?! There are plenty of "older" movies I have yet to see and I don't get my feelings hurt when I see spoilers online. We're in the "information era" and when you go looking, sometimes find things you didn't want to see. It's no one's fa... -
Christopher Richard Cook Well, I apologize for getting you so upset, but it's my opinion that regardless of how how long something has been out, spoilers are never fair game, and for the record, I am a new fan. I just watched this movie last night because I began the Trek franchise about a year ago. -
Virago Welcome to the fandom! It's been around since about 1966. Sadly for newbies thems the brakes; that's how it works coming into a well established fandom. Being a long-time, hard-core, diehard fan, we talk and it doesn't really register that there are new people coming into the fandom after so many years. Unfortunately for fans everywhere, spoilers are all over the internet. Like I said, I've been there. For example, when "Legend Of The Seeker" first came on TV I had no clue the show was based on a series of books. But most of the other fans did and they knew what was going to happen and they let spoilers slip. It sucked, but I understood that this was a series that had been around for years and the older fans didn't really think about the fact that there were people new to the fandom. So I stayed away from message boards and such so that I didn't see spoilers. I get your feelings, honestly, I do. Spoilers suck, but they're out there. The only thing you can do is hope you don...

While I love all the Star Trek movies, this isn't my favorite only because I don't think Riker & Troi should have married. BTW, Wesley Crusher was at the wedding? I thought he was off learning with... more

Christopher Richard Cook Just because he went off with the Traveler doesn't mean that no one will ever see him again; it's not like he died. He can interact with people the same as the Traveler can. -
Saundranator I know he can, I just figured he would be too busy exploring the universe. But I guess a wedding is one of the ways to explain his presence. -
Christopher Richard Cook Yeah, it seems to me like he would want to be at that kind of event, although it would have been nice to see the Traveler there with him.
