Another solid Superman film that's just as good as the first film and manages to add more which is more then you can ask from any great sequel.

I like this version, but it doesn't make complete sense. A few plot holes, which might have been fixed if it was done this way originally.

Just wished Warner Brothers had released this one to the big screen!

funny how it's the flying in space bit that looks dodgy coz the rest is so "realistic" (he says without a hint of sarcasm)

The better version. Still think the phantom zone makes Zod et all look like an 80's album cover flying through space..

Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut (2006 re-cut of the 1980 classic) - Superior to the original, but missing scenes that one may be nostalgic for even if they were silly (like the Eiffel Tower Sequence). Terrance Stamp is great in this, and I cannot even begin to say how much I love Gene Hackman and Christopher Reeves in these films.

This version is truly better than the original theatrical release.

Checking out the BluRay, haven't seen it since the HD-DVD first came out.

Still get chills seeing #ChristopherReeves being the Big "S". #SDCC @dccomics

As it was intended to be. Much better than the theatrical release.

Christopher Reeve will always be the definitive Superman for me.

Finally, on Blu-Ray... let's watch this former urban legend.

It may be flawed (and break it's own continuity with the earlier Superman: The Movie), but as a glimpse of 'What if Donner hadn't been canned...', it captivates.

Not seen a directors cut so different before not sure if I like the original better. The blu rays are looking beautiful.
