First time ever watching Taxi Driver, while it was interesting seeing so many faces that went on to become stars, I didn't like the movie. I can appreciate the range that De Niro has as an actor nevertheless his dissent into insanity was disturbing. The violence was no where as gruesome as today's films yet it was still too much for me.
