Got the uncut version, the amount of hype the film had made me terrified to even watch it =P Being vague to avoid spoilers, the part at the dinner table was one of the most difficult sequences of a film I ever had to sit through, it reminded me a bit of Eraserhead, almost too much to take!

This was banned at the time of its first release in the UK, and I remember getting a pirated VHS copy, borrowed from a friend. It was OK, but now I look back, it was not as gory as I first thought it was.

The of the movies should of been the goriest movies with a chainsaw ever made. I think they sat around and discussed how many gory things that a person could do with a chainsaw to another human being.
