Definitely sad, but I love the way the tale is told and especially how pure it is -- well before reality tv and crime story tv changed the way the average person handled an on-camera interview.

What an amazingly sad story. And this documentary is only really the start of it.

Inspiring story, but should have had an edit with the aftermath. Apparently David was released thanks to the publicity that this film caused.

Philip Glass did the score!!

Please don't tell me that dowdy, eccentric looking bumpkin woman is not the defence counsel in this capital murder case... Oh good lord, she is. Damn.

Amazing how things have changed and not changed since this documentary was done.

Any documentary directed by Errol Morris is fantastic, especially since he has Philip Glass compose the score, this is probably one of the best police documentaries out there
