O humor negro permeia a história, como é típico nos filmes de Burton. São piadas físicas, como olhos pulando e braços caindo, ou mais textuais, várias delas ditas por um verme que vive dentro da cabeça da Noiva-Cadáver

O curioso é notar que Burton cria o além-vida de uma forma muito mais animada que o mundo dos vivos. Enquanto os mortos se divertem, com muita música, bebidas e coreografias de fazer, literalmente, chacoalhar o esqueleto, os terrenos se comportam como zumbis e se movem por um mundo gótico e acinzentado.

This movie had to grow on me. Wasnt a fan at first but slowly starting to like it.

One of my favs. Saw it in the theater while my poor fiancée slept thru it. Made it up to me by buying it on blu ray. Now I'm watching it in bed with my toddler son for the first time. :)
