I admit: had no idea that the guy who created #Kurzweil synthesizer, also created early #texttospeech for blind, & was such a bold #visionary.

Also cool seeing footage from some classic SciFi films (good & bad), like #Metropolis, Invisible Boy, etc in this. Used to show possible #dystopian future to contrast with #Kurzweil's #utopian

#Kurzweil's views on #AI are very bold. He really believes we can create true AI by 2040's! Wow.
